Dewar’s 12 Year Old undergoes a process that the company describes as ‘double aging’. After blending the malt and grain whiskies, the resulting spirit is then matured in oak barrels for a further six to nine months. This ensures the harmony between the source whiskies that make up the Dewar’s 12 Year Old blend.
